I dreamt of a career as a female rugby referee but quickly found this to be challenging for us women. I still managed to reach top level, but then I was tackled by a player stating that I did not belong in a man’s sport. Following this I felt alone while fighting for my rights against the world of rugby, filling me with fear, frustration, and sadness. See how I continued my work as a rugby referee after my traumatic incident. Learn how I as a woman live in a man’s world and how I learned to ignore the haters, but also try to drive change for others. This is my story.
