Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Human Aspect of

Frid

I felt that no matter where I turned, I did not find a place where I belonged. As a third-culture kid coming back from Kenya to live in a predominantly white world re-triggered self-hate and deep sadness. Growing up, I experienced racism daily, and I ended up internalizing the anger because I didn’t want to show it, as I saw that as a sign of weakness. I felt extremely lonely in my experiences, and when the #BLM movement started, the global burden of racism weighed down on me to the point where I did not have the energy or motivation. See how I started a journey to learn how to love myself again, starting with my hair. Once I allowed myself to have outlets for my suppressed emotions and anger through dance and arts, I rediscovered my creativity and passion. Learn how this helped me establish my form of activism with space for my cultures and experiences. This is my story.
